Watch: WCAX Vermont Interview Woodnose Founders Justin & Roger
Feb 01, 2021
In a WCAX Vermont interview, Roger and Justin Branon Rodriguez discuss their innovative nonalcoholic maple beverage, Sacré. Roger explains, "As you get older, your relationship with alcohol changes, but you still miss the ritual of opening a bottle after a long day." Sacré, a fermented and bourbon barrel-aged maple beverage, was born out of an experiment started in 2018, inspired by Justin's mom's maple vinegar. The unique combination of maple and coffee was a happy accident at a family wedding, quickly gaining international attention. Justin highlights, "It’s made from Vermont maple syrup and fermented maple syrup, but we’re also a beverage that can be drank by itself. There’s no mixing required, you can just chill, shake, and pour." Featured on Rachael Ray and in the New York Times, Sacré has become a showstopper, all beginning in Vermont.
